چکیده

Abstract One of the brightest X-ray pulsars in Small Magellanic Cloud is SMC X-2. During its most recent major outburst 2015, this transient pulsar displayed significant changes both accretion state and magnetosphere, particularly when it entered low-luminosity regime subcritical accretion. Polestar a pulse-profile modeling code that helps delineating geometry emission as source evolves past toward lower-luminosity states. Applying to XMM-Newton NuSTAR pulse profiles, we constrained likely inclination spin axis be i = 87° ± 4°. As luminosity declined, an increase pulsed fraction was detected from Swift observations, which suggests transition fan- pencil-beam during later stages outburst. Additionally, also performed analysis OGLE IV light curves, showed strong modulation optical profiles

Luminosity dependent changes in the X-ray pulse profile of the transient pulsar Cepheus X-4 during its declining phase of the 1997 outburst

The transient X-ray pulsar Cepheus X-4 underwent its latest outburst in 1997, during July–August, which lasted for about 30 days. The Pointed mode Proportional Counters (PPCs) of the Indian X-ray Astronomy Experiment (IXAE) on board IRS-P3 satellite observed the source in its declining phase during 1997 July 28 to July 30. The timing analysis of the data confirms the 66 seconds pulsation of the...

V 0332 + 53 in the outburst of 2004 – 2005 : luminosity dependence of the cyclotron line and pulse profile

We present results of observations of the transient X-ray pulsar V0332+53 performed during a very powerful outburst in Dec, 2004 – Feb, 2005 with the INTEGRAL and RXTE observatories in a wide (3 − 100 keV) energy band. A cyclotron resonance scattering line at an energy of ∼ 26 keV has been detected in the source spectrum together with its two higher harmonics at ∼ 50 and ∼ 73 keV, respectively....

The Discovery of an Outburst and Pulsed X-ray Flux from SMC X-2 from RXTE Observations

Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer All Sky Monitor observations of SMC X-2 show that the source experienced an outburst in January to April 2000 reaching a peak luminosity of greater than ∼10 ergs s. RXTE Proportional Counter Array observations during this outburst reveal the presence of pulsations with a 2.37s period. However, optical photometry of the optical counterpart showed the source to be stil...

The recent pulse period evolution of SMC X - 1

We report observations of SMC X-1 in three new high-intensity states with ROSAT HRI in December 1995, May 1997, and March 1998 in which pulsations with a period of 0.70769 (± 0.00006) s, 0.70706 (± 0.00001) s, and 0.706707 (± 0.00001) s respectively were detected. Combining the pulse periods from observations with ROSAT PSPC in high-intensity states in October 1991 and March 1998, respectively,...
